BETWEEN THE PAGES
Lose yourself between the pages of a great book
The first Between The Pages release is out now! New Zealand-set historical/literary novel, 'WALKING IN THE SHADOW' was written by author CARMEN RADTKE as she sheltered under a table during the Christchurch earthquakes. It's a moving, uplifting tale set on Quail Island, the first leper colony established in New Zealand in the early 1900s. The book was selected by the New Zealand Society of Authors in 2012 for its mentoring programme, under the expertise of New Zealand editor and author Stephen Stratford.
We are very proud to make this wonderful book our very first release!
The cover image was created by up and coming artist Christine Rotolo.

Between The Pages is run by authors. We know how it feels to work really hard on your novel and not hear anything back, so we will always reply. We know how frustrating it is to be told that your work doesn't fit neatly enough into one particular genre, or that there's no room on the slate. We don't have a slate and we're not bound by genre, although we are particularly interested in stories or writers with an Australasian connection. We are a small, boutique publishing house, and we have eclectic tastes; if it's good, if it makes us cry or laugh or think, we want it. If it will challenge or entertain our readers, there's a home for it at Between The Pages. Our main focus is commercial fiction, but we're open to persuasion. We publish ebooks and print-on-demand.
